In the 13th minute Arnaldo Cugat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Gau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Evis having to interfere. Feliberto Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Evis in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Cugat in the 22nd minute of play forced Ibáñez's goalkeeper Feliberto Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 minutes of play, Casey AFC's Federico Silvanito made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliberto Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mateo Peter kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After the first half Casey AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Gau to make the kick off. When Eustaquio Cresconio fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Casey AFC's protests and gave Eustaquio Cresconio a yellow card for diving instead. Eustaquio Cresconio hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 59 minutes into the match, Ibáñez's goalkeeper Feliberto Navarro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Federico Silvanito. Feliberto Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Cugat in the 62nd minute. In the 86th minute Eustaquio Cresconio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliberto Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Gau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Isaias Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Anastasio Oso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casey AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ibáñez the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 89th minute of the game. One of Casey AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ibáñez:s goal. The referee gave Ibáñez a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Casimiro Eder, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Casey AFC's Isaias Evis. 2-1. Eustaquio Cresconio was shown his second yellow card after 95 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Eustaquio Cresconio kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Ibáñez support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
