After 15 minutes of play, Malvinas Argentinas's Diego Sansone made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 28th minute, Neriman Pérez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Arturo Lope, passed just outside the right post. In the 30th minute, Neriman Pérez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
