The Ascochinga AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jeremias Fernado should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Fernado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niceto Feliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Carmelo Faro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Jeremias Fernado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ramiro Daunte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute, Ciriaco Caradaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Guillelmus having to interfere. Natalio Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Hipolito Guillelmus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascochinga AFC. Fermin Urtungo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Hipolito Guillelmus made a huge save. Fermin Urtungo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Hipolito Guillelmus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascochinga AFC. After a rather tough play, Ascochinga AFC's Cipriano Birjaio got a free kick in the 46th minute. After the first half Pilar AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Faro was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ramiro Daunte got free with Jeremias Fernado in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 59 minutes of play, Pilar AFC's Ciriaco Caradaro made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Fernado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ciriaco Caradaro charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciriaco Caradaro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Pilar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Caradaro. Fermin Urtungo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hipolito Guillelmus having to make a save. Jeremias Fernado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Caradaro's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. If Fermin Urtungo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco Caradaro in the 82nd minute of play forced Ascochinga AFC's goalkeeper Jeremias Fernado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Ascochinga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Abalos to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Ubarna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 86 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Caradaro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeremias Fernado, 0-5. Fermin Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
