Spectators: 7211 (Terracing: 5409, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Ascochinga AFC's Fermin Urtungo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Cipriano Birjaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ascochinga AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Grositos FC the free kick. After 9 minutes of play, Grositos FC's Primitivo Herrera made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jeremias Fernado was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Benito Behe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Fernado was a little too slow when Benito Behe got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 14th minute. The score was now 3-0. Fermin Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Per-Olof Blixt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Per-Olof Blixt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Urtungo, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. With a little luck, Ascochinga AFC's Jeremias Fernado got control of the ball when Anastasio Oro tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Grositos FC's zone, Fermin Urtungo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Olof Blixt came out of the goal and Fermin Urtungo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 35 minutes into the match, Primitivo Herrera dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jeremias Fernado, 4-0. In the 40th minute Raul Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Fernado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Natalio Ilixo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ascochinga AFC's Jeremias Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Berenguer in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Benito Behe made the kick off in the second half. Benito Behe scored 5-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jeremias Fernado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fermin Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Blixt having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Urtungo got free with Per-Olof Blixt in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Natalio Ilixo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ascochinga AFC's Jeremias Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Berenguer in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Ascochinga AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Raul Berenguer came free, but Jeremias Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fermin Urtungo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Olof Blixt having to interfere. 6-0 became the score in the 75th minute when Anastasio Oro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Primitivo Herrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jeremias Fernado. Ascochinga AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Primitivo Herrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Jeremias Fernado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Oro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 played minutes Ascochinga AFC got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Goren. Ascochinga AFC's Jeremias Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anastasio Oro in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, Grositos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Barros to maneuver through the defense. Grositos FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
