Domínguez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Remolacha Azucarera the free kick. In the 38th minute, Hermengildo Brun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domínguez's Cristobal Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Domínguez from getting a goal against them.

The wind increased when Sixto Niguel made the kick off in the second half. Sixto Niguel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Nuñez having to interfere. Cristobal Nuñez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Jerrald's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Sixto Niguel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Cristobal Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Itzaina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Nel having to make a save. A collision led to Domínguez getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Arnaldo Feliz hit a great ball. The audience cheered when Gaspar Joseph's long shot passed Cristobal Nuñez's right side. It was 2-0, 83 minutes into the match. Marcos Kimetz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgardo Nel having to make a save.
