An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Etxatxu in the 10th minute of play forced Jocolí's goalkeeper Marco Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Arnoldo Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Cristos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Etxatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Etxatxu struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Marco Cristos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlos Paz City. In the 16th match minute, Jocolí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Lamberto to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Darien's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Cristos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 21 minutes, Braulio Gipuzkoa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carlos Paz City and the Jocolí players grew even worse after the yellow card. Braulio Gipuzkoa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. If Martin Etxatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th match minute, Carlos Paz City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Braulio Gipuzkoa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Baldovino in the 33rd minute of play forced Jocolí's goalkeeper Marco Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Cristos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Aureliano Baldovino struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Marco Cristos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carlos Paz City.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christian Oxel was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Jocolí getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Venancio Rosalio hit a great ball. Jocolí's Marco Cristos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Jocolí from getting a goal against them. If Arnoldo Obano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fulgencio Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jocolí's zone, Arnoldo Obano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marco Cristos came out of the goal and Arnoldo Obano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Martin Etxatxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Cristos having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Jocolí's goalkeeper Marco Cristos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Etxatxu. With his leg Marco Cristos managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when Carlos Paz City's Fulgencio Darien fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 76th minute, Arnoldo Obano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Cristos was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Montrelle got free with Marco Cristos in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fulgencio Darien recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aaron Papo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Lop, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 95 minutes into the match, Jocolí's goalkeeper Marco Cristos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martin Etxatxu. Fulgencio Darien who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Marco Cristos when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
