Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Jonathan Perutxo made the kick off and thus started the match. Camilo Loramendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonathan Perutxo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Racing Club's Ceferino Urdin got control of the ball when Geronimo Brun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Carmelo Benitez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ceferino Urdin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute of the match, Paolo Suarez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ceferino Urdin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Geronimo Brun came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Hurlingham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Geronimo Brun couldn't finish the play. In the 16th minute, one of Racing Club:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Racing Club. Paolo Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Brun scored 2-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ceferino Urdin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goalkeeper Ceferino Urdin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geronimo Brun. Feliciano Cordeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Hurlingham's Paolo Suarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ceferino Urdin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paolo Suarez to make the kick off. Geronimo Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Ceferino Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Paolo Suarez made a precise shot to the right of Ceferino Urdin. Racing Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. In the 69th match minute, Hurlingham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Benitez to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Perutxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Camilo Loramendi having to interfere. After having played for 75 minutes, Jonathan Perutxo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonathan Perutxo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Racing Club's Jonathan Perutxo got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto Marko struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Camilo Loramendi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Club. 84 minutes in the game, Jonathan Perutxo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Camilo Loramendi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Horacio Castel got a free kick in the 95th minute. Hurlingham's Paolo Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hurlingham's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
