Saverio Cuartio was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 2nd minute. Madrejón FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Claudio Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albino Clemencin in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Silvio Rojelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Madrejón FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmitas the free kick. The supporters of Palmitas booed when Madrejón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Rojelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cirilo Harriet took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Lorenz. Madrejón FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 13 minutes, Albino Clemencin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albino Clemencin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saverio Cuartio in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Berriotxoa saved Palmitas from getting behind. In the 20th match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fermin Kauldi to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Saverio Cuartio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albino Clemencin might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Lorenz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Clemencin ran back to his position shaking his head. Madrejón FC's Claudio Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Clemencin in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 29 minutes, Saverio Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madrejón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Saverio Cuartio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the game, Saverio Cuartio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergio Berriotxoa. Saverio Cuartio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Victorio Cucao hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute of the match Filiberto Primo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Berriotxoa skillfully saved the ball. Claudio Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Koldo in the 39th minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Albino Clemencin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palmitas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sergio Berriotxoa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Cuartio, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Saverio Cuartio made the kick off in the second half. Victorio Cucao tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Sergio Berriotxoa. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-1 in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fermin Kauldi during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Palmitas got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Kauldi. After 63 minutes, Eulalio Ramos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Madrejón FC and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Madrejón FC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Ramos. Albino Clemencin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Albino Clemencin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Claudio Lorenz, passed just outside the right post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
