Santiago Ritchie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Lorenz having to make a save. Claudio Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Ritchie in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esquina AFC's goalkeeper Pascual Oliverios, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arnulfo Senen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 15 minutes, Isaias Tomi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Madrejón FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaias Tomi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Pascual Oliverios successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 19th minute Saverio Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Esquina AFC's Leandro Kimetz got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Esquina AFC's Pascual Oliverios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Esquina AFC from getting a goal against them. Claudio Lorenz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santiago Ritchie's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Isaias Tomi struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Pascual Oliverios didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrejón FC. Claudio Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santiago Ritchie in the 31st minute of the match. Claudio Lorenz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Haritzeder in the 32nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Esquina AFC's zone, Saverio Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Oliverios came out of the goal and Saverio Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 47th minute Saverio Cuartio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Oliverios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aldo Haritzeder to strike the kick off in the second half. Saverio Cuartio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Haritzeder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Lorenz having to make a save. Eulalio Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Santiago Ritchie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute of the match, Aldo Haritzeder tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Claudio Lorenz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Saverio Cuartio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th match minute, Esquina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimundo Fe to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute Silvio Rojelio suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. After 81 minutes, Dionisio Justin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquina AFC and the Madrejón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dionisio Justin kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Esquina AFC's Pascual Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Tomi in the 85th minute of play. Santiago Ritchie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Lorenz having to interfere. If Isaias Tomi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Leandro Kimetz fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esquina AFC's protests and gave Leandro Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. Leandro Kimetz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. The Esquina AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Madrejón FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
