When Alejandro Eder got free in front of the goal in the 24th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Octavio Felipo was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 30 minutes into the match, La 9na Borracha.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Bernat came free, but Mauricio Eudoxio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octavio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alejandro Eder in the 34th minute of play. Octavio Felipo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejandro Eder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mauricio Eudoxio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeremias Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Jeremias Bernat made the kick off in the second half. La 9na Borracha.'s Mauricio Eudoxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Bernat in the 52nd minute of play. Inocencio Vela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Jeremias Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Intiyaco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Bernat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in La 9na Borracha.'s zone, Jeremias Bernat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Eudoxio came out of the goal and Jeremias Bernat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Fermin Suarez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauricio Eudoxio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jeremias Bernat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Eudoxio having to interfere. Leonardo Gaueko's late challenge caught a Intiyaco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Gaueko helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Leonardo Gaueko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Inocencio Vela managed to get in a good position for a shot. Intiyaco's supporters rose to their feet, but Inocencio Vela was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Eudoxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artemio Estevon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
