Honorato Austin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 15th minute. Ranquilcó's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Saturnino Rodas fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mil Flores's protests and gave Saturnino Rodas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th match minute, Mil Flores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Rodas to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Etxeberri was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 95th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Ranquilcó players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
