Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jeremias Bernat started the match with the kick off. When Uriel Madaleno fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Intiyaco's protests and gave Uriel Madaleno a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Intiyaco's Uriel Madaleno got a free kick in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Intiyaco's goal looked a bit too open when Honorato Austin came free, but Octavio Felipo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feliberto Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Bernat in the 10th minute of play. After having played for 15 minutes, Honorato Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ranquilcó's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorato Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Fermin Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Intiyaco defense, Angel Gutxi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavio Felipo. The Intiyaco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavio Felipo should have stopped the shot. Ranquilcó's Feliberto Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Ranquilcó from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 29 minutes, Feliberto Hernando successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Octavio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Austin in the 30th minute of play. Angel Gutxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octavio Felipo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorato Austin in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Jonatan Intxixu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ranquilcó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Intiyaco the free kick. The supporters of Intiyaco booed when Ranquilcó was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonatan Intxixu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorato Austin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Octavio Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Angel Gutxi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Honorato Austin was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Angel Gutxi could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Octavio Felipo however easily saved by the left post. Angel Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavio Felipo having to interfere. Feliberto Hernando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jeremias Bernat went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Angel Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Octavio Felipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Ranquilcó's goal looked a bit too open when Jeremias Bernat came free, but Feliberto Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Gutxi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Ranquilcó's Honorato Austin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Felipo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ignacio Orlo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Austin in the 89th minute of play forced Intiyaco's goalkeeper Octavio Felipo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Angel Gutxi came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Ranquilcó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Gutxi couldn't finish the play. Herminio Mikeldi hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Intiyaco succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ranquilcó had controlled the match.
