Cardozos AFC's Modesto Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Joseph in the 24th minute of play. If Ramon Baristo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Pirané getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Emiliano Gonsalve hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ruben Donio in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Totakoxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jacobo Totakoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 50 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pirané's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ubaldo Chuse was slow to take the kick. During this time Cardozos AFC's players had a chance to rest. The supporters of Cardozos AFC booed when Pirané was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Salvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cardozos AFC's Ubaldo Chuse couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Pirané. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abelardo Joseph stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Modesto Jobo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abelardo Joseph's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After a rather tough play, Pirané's Carmelo Salvino got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Eloy Dalmai who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Jacobo Totakoxe when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a little luck, Pirané's Jacobo Totakoxe got control of the ball when Eloy Dalmai tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 75th minute Ruben Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Totakoxe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eloy Dalmai got free with Jacobo Totakoxe in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
