The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Mikolas got free with Teodoro Primo in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, Orlando Mendez fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Teodoro Primo, passed just outside the right post. With a little luck, GENERAL CHALA's Teodoro Primo got control of the ball when Honorato Ermengol tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Villa Crespo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Villa Crespo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
