Spectators: 7215 (Terracing: 5412, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Arsenio Birjaio started the match with the kick off. Armando Niguel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Birjaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rene Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Guerau in the 33rd minute of the match. Julio Evangelista kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Dario Victoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Goren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 39th minute, one of Samborombón:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Samborombón. The referee gave Candelarias AFC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dario Victoro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Samborombón's Rene Goren. 1-0. Rene Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Guerau in the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Javier Lazcano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelarias AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Javier Lazcano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rene Goren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Melquiades Guerau made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Samborombón's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Guerau came free, but Rene Goren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Hipolito Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Goren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Guerau in the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 minutes, Eloy Ursino made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Samborombón's Rene Goren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Rene Goren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloy Ursino, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Horacio Jerrold kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Hipolito Colas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Armando Niguel made a huge save. Eloy Ursino took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Goren. Rene Goren dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Candelarias AFC's Armando Niguel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Candelarias AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 84th match minute, Candelarias AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javier Lazcano to maneuver through the defense. Rene Goren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Guerau in the 96th minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Samborombón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Leobardo to maneuver through the defense. Samborombón's Rene Goren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Guerau in the 98th minute of play. Candelarias AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
