The supporters of Fortin F.C. booed when Kiola FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Galo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Eduardo Bras put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jacinto Piarres. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jacinto Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Bras in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Froilan Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Piarres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Ekain blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jacinto Piarres having to make a save. When Eduardo Bras came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Fortin F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Bras couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Piarres stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Bras's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Gregorio Horado fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Dionisio Etxatxu, passed just outside the right post. Dionisio Etxatxu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horacio Martino in the 39th minute. After having played for 42 minutes, Eduardo Bras managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fortin F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Bras was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Eduardo Bras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Igon made in the 47th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Fortin F.C.'s Froilan Ekain. When the match had gone on for 48 minutes, Eduardo Bras put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Jacinto Piarres. The Kiola FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fortin F.C. were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Eduardo Bras made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Martino in the 57th minute of play forced Fortin F.C.'s goalkeeper Dionisio Etxatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Piarres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Afonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodosio Vermudo took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dionisio Etxatxu. Dionisio Etxatxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 64th minute Horacio Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Piarres having to interfere. Kiola FC's Jacinto Piarres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Bras in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th minute of the match Baldomiro Hibai shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dionisio Etxatxu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kiola FC's goalkeeper Jacinto Piarres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduardo Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Piarres having to interfere. In the 76th minute Gregorio Horado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Etxatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardo Bras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eduardo Bras sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 80th minute, Rodolfo Medero had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Galo during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fortin F.C. made a substitution. Matias Eguntsenti replaced Rodolfo Medero. After 82 played minutes Kiola FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Galo. Eduardo Bras spun around in front of the goal 84 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Kiola FC's goal. When Kiola FC's Gregorio Horado in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fortin F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Jacinto Piarres was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Matias Eguntsenti showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 90 minute of play. In the 97thth minute of the game Eduardo Bras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kiola FC's Jacinto Piarres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Froilan Ekain sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
