Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Camilo Fidensio started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Arturo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Casares's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Illan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice moves Rigoberto Matteo could shoot a difficult shot in the 7th minute, which Edgard Pedroso however easily saved by the left post. Casares's Santos Luzaide got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute of the match Rodolfo Joey shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Clemente Hermelando showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Adrian Palos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casares's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nequen the free kick. In the 21st minute of the match Gogo Lop sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgard Pedroso skillfully saved the ball. Arturo Illan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Clemente Hermelando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Matteo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Edgard Pedroso made a huge save. Camilo Fidensio scored 0-1 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Hermelando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 32 minutes, Teodosio Nataniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nequen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodosio Nataniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casares's Adrian Palos got his second yellow card of the match in the 37th minute. The referee ordered Adrian Palos off the ground. In the 38th minute, Adrian Palos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Edgard Pedroso managed to avoid a goal in the 39thth minute, when Nequen's Rigoberto Matteo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 41 minutes into the match, Casares's Arturo Illan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Clemente Hermelando narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Santos Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Hermelando having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Illan in the 48th minute of play forced Nequen's goalkeeper Clemente Hermelando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Nataniel to make the kick off. In the 52ndth minute of the game Teodosio Nataniel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Casares's Edgard Pedroso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Matteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Casares's Edgard Pedroso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Nataniel in the 60th minute of play. Teodosio Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgard Pedroso having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Arturo Illan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clemente Hermelando breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aureliano Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Matteo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edgard Pedroso having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Teodosio Nataniel in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgard Pedroso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Nataniel in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgard Pedroso saved Casares from getting behind. Edgard Pedroso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodosio Nataniel in the 82nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Matteo in the 85th minute of play forced Casares's goalkeeper Edgard Pedroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 87 played minutes Casares got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Fidensio. Nequen's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gogo Lop in the 90th minute. A hard shot 93 in the game by Arturo Illan from a close distance when the talented Clemente Hermelando managed to make a qualified save. Nequen's players were relieved. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Casares eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
