Iván De Pineda's Bartolo Matthew quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Roberto Beltxe, made in the 14th minute of the game. Bernardino Berdaitz was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Gaston Xabat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gaston Xabat really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talleres de Perico fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! After 25 played minutes Talleres de Perico got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Eladio. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres de Perico's goalkeeper Bernardino Berdaitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Igor Cordarin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Montel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 38 minutes into the match, Talleres de Perico's goal looked a bit too open when Gaston Xabat came free, but Bernardino Berdaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Valadares in the 39th minute of play forced Talleres de Perico's goalkeeper Bernardino Berdaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Valadares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernardino Berdaitz having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Alvaro Eladio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres de Perico's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Iván De Pineda the free kick. Alvaro Eladio hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Constantino Montel made a kick off. Patricio Pereyra hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 56 minutes of play, Iván De Pineda's Gaston Xabat made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardino Berdaitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Iván De Pineda fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Iván De Pineda's Gaston Xabat looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Jonas Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd match minute, Talleres de Perico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Pereyra to maneuver through the defense. Bernardino Berdaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Valadares, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Jonas Valadares scored 6-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernardino Berdaitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 83 played minutes Talleres de Perico got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Eladio. The attack was good, but when Gaston Xabat in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 90 minutes into the match, Talleres de Perico's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Valadares came free, but Bernardino Berdaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernardino Berdaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Xabat, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to Talleres de Perico getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Basilio Eguen hit a great ball. Gaston Xabat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardino Berdaitz having to interfere. Patricio Pereyra charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Patricio Pereyra the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 94 played minutes Talleres de Perico got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Pereyra. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Iván De Pineda fully deserved thier win.
