Eleuterio Naldo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, EL ROJO TUCUMANO's goalkeeper Eleuterio Naldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gregorio Eyague. In the 10th minute of the match, Gregorio Eyague got a very nice opportunity to score, but Eleuterio Naldo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 10th match minute, EL ROJO TUCUMANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Toro to maneuver through the defense. When Celedonio Lluis came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Mazzeteam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celedonio Lluis couldn't finish the play. Igor Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Eleuterio Naldo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, EL ROJO TUCUMANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Toro to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Mazzeteam's Celedonio Lluis got a free kick in the 18th minute. A collision led to EL ROJO TUCUMANO getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Igor Vasco hit a great ball. Severino Dorio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 21st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, EL ROJO TUCUMANO's Dennis Sundberg got a free kick in the 26th minute. With an all-out effort, Mazzeteam's Eleuterio Naldo threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celedonio Lluis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rene Toro kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Eleuterio Naldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celedonio Lluis, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. When Virgilio Jago came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the EL ROJO TUCUMANO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Jago couldn't finish the play. Rafael Erasto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per Bergström in the 34th minute of the match. Rafael Erasto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Jakes in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Virgilio Jago was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EL ROJO TUCUMANO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mazzeteam the free kick. In the 40th minute, Virgilio Jago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the EL ROJO TUCUMANO defense, Gregorio Eyague kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eleuterio Naldo. The EL ROJO TUCUMANO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eleuterio Naldo should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Per Bergström was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Igor Vasco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EL ROJO TUCUMANO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Vasco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eleuterio Naldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicholas Hazard went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Celedonio Lluis succeeded in the game's 61st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Eyague in the 71st minute of play forced EL ROJO TUCUMANO's goalkeeper Eleuterio Naldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to EL ROJO TUCUMANO getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Dennis Sundberg hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute Gregorio Eyague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Naldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Naldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Hazard in the 76th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Per Bergström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dennis Sundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. EL ROJO TUCUMANO's Eleuterio Naldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Eyague in the 87th minute of play. In the 89th match minute, EL ROJO TUCUMANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Iban to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the EL ROJO TUCUMANO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mazzeteam.
