Basilio Umea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Salomone, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Salomone in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Basilio Umea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes into the game, Niceto Bonifaco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CA Vélez Sársfield's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haedo FC the free kick. Basilio Umea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Haedo FC. Haedo FC made a substitution. Fulgencio Socorro replaced Alejo Silbestre. Haedo FC's Niceto Ospetsu was substituted for Astor Dimo. Tomas Montae hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Haedo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CA Vélez Sársfield.
