Jonatan Palban struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nereo Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zazo. After having played for 14 minutes, Jose Maria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esquel FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Maria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Francisco Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Nerio having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonatan Palban kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nereo Nerio. That made the score 3-0 in the 25 minute of play. Ruperto Maties showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Maria, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francisco Ibon to make the kick off. Jose Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruperto Maties having to interfere. 58 minutes into the match, Zazo's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Maria came free, but Ruperto Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Maria in the 62nd minute of play forced Zazo's goalkeeper Ruperto Maties to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zazo's Rafael Seme got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Francisco Ibon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. When Francisco Ibon came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Zazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Ibon couldn't finish the play. Esquel FC's Nereo Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Ibon in the 81st minute of play. Nereo Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Ibon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nereo Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severo Gartzi in the 89th minute of play. When Zazo's Francisco Ibon in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esquel FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nereo Nerio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zazo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
