But to his dismay, Silvestre Celipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Jose Maria got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Augusto Ihintza was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Jose Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Augusto Ihintza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Jose Maria got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 25 minutes into the match, Excellent Era's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Sesuldo came free, but Augusto Ihintza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jose Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ihintza having to interfere. When Jose Maria came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Esquel FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Maria couldn't finish the play. Jose Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ihintza having to interfere. When Silvestre Celipe came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Excellent Era fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Celipe couldn't finish the play.

Augusto Ihintza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Sesuldo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ezequiel Ibañez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Jose Maria cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Augusto Ihintza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ulises Sesuldo charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulises Sesuldo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Esquel FC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Sesuldo. In the 67th minute Jose Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Conrado Fraco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Excellent Era's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Maria came free, but Augusto Ihintza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Excellent Era's Silvestre Celipe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nereo Nerio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marciano Mundo in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nereo Nerio, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jose Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ihintza having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Maria in the 88th minute of play forced Excellent Era's goalkeeper Augusto Ihintza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulises Sesuldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Ihintza having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Esquel FC fully deserved thier win.
