Paulino Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Mannie having to interfere. The referee ignored Seleccionado Ruso's protests and gave Florencio Pagomari a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd match minute, Seleccionado Ruso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Pagomari to maneuver through the defense. Seleccionado Ruso's Sergio Mannie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Montxo in the 45th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Médanos AFC's Modesto Tebaldo got a free kick in the 49th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Montxo was the one to do the kick off. Seleccionado Ruso were furious when Victorino Roland was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Seleccionado Ruso! When the match had been going on for 57 minutes, Médanos AFC's Domingo Sotil got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sergio Mannie. In the 61st match minute, Seleccionado Ruso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. In the 64th minute, Ernesto Quintyn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arturo Montxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Sergio Mannie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Quintyn scored 4-2 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Patricio Nastasio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Felipe Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Nastasio having to interfere. Patricio Nastasio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Médanos AFC booed when Seleccionado Ruso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Jaen didn't get a good kick on the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Seleccionado Ruso fully deserved thier win.
