Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arnoldo Frasco got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Domingo Qwinton during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Baltasar Senio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zárate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Arnoldo Frasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Lordi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Zárate's Francisco Rocendo got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 19th minute, Saverio Eguerdi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gustavo Cordarrell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltasar Senio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Lordi having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Zárate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for Pavón. Eriberto Lehen stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ruben Cai. 1-1. Gustavo Cordarrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Erubiel Gotzon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pavón's Gustavo Cordarrell got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

54 minutes into the match, Pavón's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Frasco came free, but Erasmo Lordi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gustavo Cordarrell struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Ruben Cai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pavón. Baltasar Senio came free with the goalkeeper in the 63rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Erasmo Lordi could save by the left post. Baltasar Senio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Erasmo Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baltasar Senio got free with Erasmo Lordi in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustavo Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Cai having to interfere. Ruben Cai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Gotzon's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Saverio Eguerdi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zárate's supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Eguerdi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Lordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Cai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Gotzon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Cordarrell in the 82nd minute of play forced Zárate's goalkeeper Ruben Cai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Saverio Eguerdi was shown his second yellow card after 93 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Zárate getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Saverio Eguerdi hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, Gustavo Cordarrell notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Zárate's Ruben Cai. Ruben Cai was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pavón were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zárate for a fine match.
