Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eleuterio Ponciano kicked off to start the match. In the 6th minute, Gavilán's Cristobal Piearres ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Teo Elizardo. Teo Elizardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Froilan Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Mauro Orti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Froilan Medardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mauro Orti. Gavilán's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Froilan Medardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Cristobal Piearres's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teo Elizardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Tomatito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Gar came free, but Teo Elizardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Ponciano's late challenge caught a Gavilán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eleuterio Ponciano helped the player get up and apologised. Gavilán's Cristobal Piearres got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nicolas Darien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Elizardo having to interfere. Cristobal Piearres struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Teo Elizardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavilán. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nestor Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gavilán's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Quinteros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Elizardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Elizardo having to interfere. Gavilán's Higinio Giraldo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristobal Piearres was the one to do the kick off. Severino Costante's late challenge caught a Gavilán's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Costante helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Tomatito FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Severino Costante hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Eleuterio Ponciano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mauro Orti. Eleuterio Ponciano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Higinio Giraldo struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Teo Elizardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gavilán. After a rather tough play, Gavilán's Nicolas Darien got a free kick in the 71st minute. During the 76th minute of the match Severino Costante completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Severino Costante a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Severino Costante kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Teo Elizardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Piearres in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Higinio Giraldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Higinio Giraldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Teo Elizardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristobal Piearres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Elizardo having to interfere. When Gavilán's Higinio Giraldo in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tomatito FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 91st match minute, Tomatito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Iratxo to maneuver through the defense. Cristobal Piearres blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Teo Elizardo having to make a save. Higinio Giraldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Elizardo having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Gavilán players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
