Elvio Cisco kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Erubiel Gotzons short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Teo Elizardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 17 played minutes Tomatito FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Ponciano. Teo Elizardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Cordarrell in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tomatito FC's goalkeeper Teo Elizardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasmo Lordi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Medardo in the 34th minute of play. Gustavo Cordarrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Elizardo having to interfere. Froilan Medardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gustavo Cordarrell to make the kick off. Mauro Incendio charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Tomatito FC's zone, Erubiel Gotzon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teo Elizardo came out of the goal and Erubiel Gotzon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Gustavo Cordarrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pavón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Cordarrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Froilan Medardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tomatito FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Medardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erasmo Lordi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Froilan Medardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Erasmo Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Placido Iratxo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Lordi having to interfere.
