Ariel Dunixi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Evangelista having to interfere. With a little luck, Nacional Football Club's Jaime Beturian got control of the ball when Aaron Francho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jaime Beturian made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Constantino Shantala sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Constantino Shantala during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 10th minute, Constantino Shantala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Constantino Shantala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Once Calvas FC's Juan Pero got a free kick in the 14th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Ariel Dunixi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Once Calvas FC's Aldo Evangelista. Aldo Evangelista was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jaime Beturian was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Aaron Francho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aaron Francho really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Jaime Beturian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Shantala in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aaron Francho got free with Jaime Beturian in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ariel Dunixi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Aldo Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Once Calvas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Estevon to maneuver through the defense. Aldo Evangelista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Beltxe, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

After having played for 52 minutes, Aaron Francho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Once Calvas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Francho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Once Calvas FC's Mateo Nel got a free kick in the 54th minute. Aldo Evangelista acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Godfredo Pitin. A collision led to Once Calvas FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Luisito Estevon hit a great ball. Constantino Shantala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Jaime Beturian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Once Calvas FC's Aldo Evangelista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Dunixi in the 65th minute of play. After 68 minutes, Nemesio Hernando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional Football Club and the Once Calvas FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nemesio Hernando hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Aldo Evangelista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Beltxe in the 71st minute. After 73 minutes Once Calvas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Alberto Arias who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Nacional Football Club's Alberto Arias to fire away a dangerous shot which Aldo Evangelista despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 78 played minutes Nacional Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Arias. 79 minutes into the match, Nacional Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Estevon came free, but Jaime Beturian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Beturian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Shantala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Shantala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Francisco Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional Football Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Beltxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aldo Evangelista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
