Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Atilano Cristos kicked off to start the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Francisco Beltxe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Beltxe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Francisco Beltxe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nistor Udrescu. Boca Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Beltxe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 8 minutes into the game, Atilano Cristos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Jaime Beturian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Atilano Cristos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Boca Juniors booed when Nacional Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guido Leheren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atilano Cristos in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jaime Beturian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Francisco Beltxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26th minute Atilano Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Beturian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Arnulfo Breogan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnulfo Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Beturian having to interfere. In the 37th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gogo Txomin to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Boca Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Arnulfo Breogan.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisco Beltxe was the one to do the kick off. Boca Juniors's Nistor Udrescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Beltxe in the 61st minute of play. Francisco Beltxe scored 2-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nistor Udrescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ariel Dunixi's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Dunixi helped the player get up and apologised. After 72 played minutes Nacional Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Dunixi. Ariel Dunixi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nistor Udrescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Artemio Theobald hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gogo Txomin fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Gogo Txomin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nacional Football Club booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Txomin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Francisco Beltxe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nistor Udrescu was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. When German Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Boca Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Cordairo couldn't finish the play. If Atilano Cristos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Arnulfo Breogan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boca Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnulfo Breogan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jaime Beturian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Arnulfo Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nacional Football Club fully deserved thier win.
