Arnulfo Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Jax having to interfere. Eleuterio Jax was a little too slow when Arnulfo Breogan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 44th minute. The score was now 1-0. If German Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Feliberto Fe made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Joel Iraitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Boca Juniors's Atilano Cristos got a free kick in the 59th minute. Boca Juniors's Nistor Udrescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. If Arnulfo Breogan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Liebig booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Rozarius didn't get a good kick on the ball.
