Americo Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Barto having to interfere. With 11 minutes on the clock, Fabio Serapio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ben Hur fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 11th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Cecilio Fernandez, was totally fooled by Monte FC's Haroldo Weterio, who 13 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Ben Hur made a substitution. Rigoberto Bernad replaced Americo Dalmai. After 17 played minutes Monte FC got a freekick which was hit by Caio Lara. After 18 played minutes Ben Hur got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Valiente. Caio Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Anier Gora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ben Hur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Arturo Barto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anier Gora went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Anier Gora blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arturo Barto having to make a save. When Anier Gora came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ben Hur fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anier Gora couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anier Gora in the 33rd minute of play forced Monte FC's goalkeeper Arturo Barto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anier Gora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Arturo Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Ben Hur booed when Monte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blas Pereyra didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st match minute, Monte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Filipo to maneuver through the defense.

The wind increased when Anier Gora made the kick off in the second half. Anier Gora might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Barto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cecilio Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emiliano Seber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Gora had several of the Monte FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Arturo Barto as he didn't even see the shot coming. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anier Gora during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ben Hur's Anier Gora got a free kick in the 69th minute. Cecilio Fernandez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Seber in the 70th minute of the match. In the 75th minute Haroldo Weterio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cecilio Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Caio Lara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Anier Gora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ben Hur's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
