In the 4thth minute of the game Ruperto Satordi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but sporting Gualeyo's Angelo Harkaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Angelo Harkaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruperto Satordi's shot from short distance in the 6th minute. sporting Gualeyo's Aaron Oihan got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cirilo Rocendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Playo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Cirilo Rocendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaspar Playo having to interfere. Ruperto Satordi's late challenge caught a sporting Gualeyo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ruperto Satordi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Ruperto Satordi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, sporting Gualeyo's Teobaldo Laffitte got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 21st minute, Damaso Piarres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Sportivo Avellaneda fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, sporting Gualeyo's Victorino Domenec got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Gaspar Playo. Sportivo Avellaneda's Ruperto Satordi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tadeo Tolino charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Tolino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sportivo Avellaneda getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Tadeo Tolino hit a great ball. Gaspar Playo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cirilo Rocendo in the 33rd minute of play. Angelo Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Tolino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agustin Nikola thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Angelo Harkaitz, a very annoying self made goal in the 37th minute which led to 1-1. Angelo Harkaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Satordi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the match, sporting Gualeyo's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Satordi came free, but Angelo Harkaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Sportivo Avellaneda defense, Aaron Oihan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaspar Playo. The Sportivo Avellaneda fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaspar Playo should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

54 minutes into the match, Damaso Piarres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelo Harkaitz, 2-2. Cirilo Rocendo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Gaspar Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teobaldo Laffitte was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. In the 69th minute, Tadeo Tolino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ruperto Satordi's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Angelo Harkaitz skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. sporting Gualeyo's Aaron Oihan got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nicasio Egun fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sportivo Avellaneda's protests and gave Nicasio Egun a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of sporting Gualeyo booed when Sportivo Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Egun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aaron Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Gaspar Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Aaron Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 90 played minutes Sportivo Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Ray Fertoli.
