Ibarlucea FC's Carmelo Silviano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Ibarlucea FC from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Ibarlucea FC defense, Basilio Naelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Silviano. The Ibarlucea FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Silviano should have stopped the shot. Ibarlucea FC's Astor Tuste managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pablo Frechoso in the 16 minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Saverio Martino during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 19th minute, Saverio Martino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Naelio in the 31st minute of play. Carmelo Silviano made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Bernardo Artizar sent off a good shot on target. But to his dismay, Bernardo Artizar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Ciriaco Vargas made the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Barrancas f.c's protests and gave Pablo Frechoso a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ibarlucea FC booed when Barrancas f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Frances in the 82nd minute of play forced Ibarlucea FC's goalkeeper Carmelo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Artizar took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Silviano. Carmelo Silviano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. Carmelo Silviano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rene Rudolfo went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Barrancas f.c's Ciriaco Vargas got a free kick in the 94th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Ibarlucea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Frances came free, but Carmelo Silviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ibarlucea FC's Carmelo Silviano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Vargas in the 98th minute of play. Barrancas f.c walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
