Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Marciano Jon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rodolfo Sotil, 4-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Virgilio Flores was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Garrison FC defense, Angelo Terciero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodolfo Sotil. The Garrison FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodolfo Sotil should have stopped the shot. Dante Fagondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 67 minutes into the match, LA COLMENA F.C's goalkeeper Felipe Ponce had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Flores. In the 68th minute Angelo Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Sotil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodolfo Sotil was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Garrison FC's zone, Dante Fagondo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Sotil came out of the goal and Dante Fagondo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Terciero in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Sotil prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 89th minute, Eleuterio Piearres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Angelo Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Rodolfo Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marciano Jon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Angelo Terciero, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodolfo Sotil was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Virgilio Flores hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Angelo Terciero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. LA COLMENA F.C had played much better football throughout.
