Hilario Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervasio Mergildo in the 2nd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Evaristo Jerico had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Franco. chelsea FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evaristo Jerico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Evaristo Jerico charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evaristo Jerico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MORGAN FC's Evaristo Jerico got a free kick in the 8th minute. If Virgilio Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Gervasio Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. MORGAN FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervasio Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hilario Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gervasio Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgilio Ihintza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fernando Rainerio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Aquilino Rufo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The chelsea FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Virgilio Ihintza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Fernando Rainerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Gualterio Kepa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Virgilio Ihintza came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the chelsea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Ihintza couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Mergildo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, chelsea FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Jerico came free, but Hilario Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, one of chelsea FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The excitement rose when MORGAN FC's Lorenzo Ixona after 47 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for chelsea FC's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 1-2. After the first half MORGAN FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gervasio Mergildo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Hilario Franco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Gualterio Kepa came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the MORGAN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gualterio Kepa couldn't finish the play. After 56 minutes of play, MORGAN FC's Gervasio Mergildo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hilario Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to MORGAN FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Lorenzo Ixona hit a great ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Aquilino Rufo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. chelsea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aquilino Rufo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Virgilio Ihintza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 82 minutes, Gervasio Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MORGAN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Mergildo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hilario Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Jerico in the 83rd minute of the match. Gervasio Mergildo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Hilario Franco skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 90 minutes into the match, Evaristo Jerico dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hilario Franco, 1-5. In the 96th minute, Gervasio Mergildo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hilario Franco. The goal made the score 1-6. When the match was over MORGAN FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than chelsea FC throughout the match.
