To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, Zurditos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Furman to maneuver through the defense. Zurditos FC's Ian Kilstedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Aimar in the 41st minute of play. When Zurditos FC's Gilberto Abancens in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ian Kilstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gilberto Abancens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gilberto Abancens fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zurditos FC's protests and gave Gilberto Abancens a yellow card for diving instead. In the 82nd match minute, Zurditos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Abancens to maneuver through the defense. Ian Kilstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Sendoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
