The referee ignored USURIAGA FC's protests and gave Santiago Bertran a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th minute, one of USURIAGA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for USURIAGA FC. Eustaquio Gaueko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isidro Ted lost his temper 77 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Maxibe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave USURIAGA FC the free kick. After 100 played minutes Maxibe got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Froila. Despite being the better team, Maxibe failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
