Filiberto Beila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Austin having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernabe Orain in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ubaldo Christobal saved Ocelot from getting behind. In the 11th minute, Aquiles Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Filiberto Beila scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Austin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 22 minutes into the match, Ocelot's Isaac Otsando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Serafin Austin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Fernandez charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Fernandez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes La Promesa Granate got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Fernandez. Isaac Otsando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac Otsando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Austin having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Otsando to make the kick off. If Bernabe Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 59 minutes, Isaac Otsando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ocelot's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isaac Otsando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubaldo Christobal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Orain in the 61st minute of the match. Justo Rosario hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Flavio Jago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Serafin Austin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, La Promesa Granate's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Jago came free, but Serafin Austin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Osoitz was shown his second yellow card after 69 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Aquiles Osoitz hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Serafin Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filiberto Beila in the 79th minute of play. Reynaldo Barrionuevo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alejandro Deunoro scored 0-2 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafin Austin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bernabe Orain kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Jago got free with Serafin Austin in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Promesa Granate's goalkeeper Serafin Austin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ocelot played a much better game than La Promesa Granate and deserved their victory. The La Promesa Granate players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
