Eugenio Tiniebra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erasmo Teyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erasmo Teyo in the 26th minute of play forced Barrow's goalkeeper Cirilo Cordara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Barrow getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cayetano Jerold hit a great ball. After 31 played minutes Deportivo Hacha got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Ferman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Garin in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo Hacha's goalkeeper Eugenio Tiniebra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Barrow's Cayetano Jerold got a free kick in the 37th minute. The supporters of Deportivo Hacha booed when Barrow was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Rodriguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonel Ferman hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Barrow's Candido Salvino broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Lucio Arnau struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Cirilo Cordara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Hacha. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Erasmo Teyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Hacha's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasmo Teyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cirilo Cordara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mario Garin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Tiniebra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play.
