After a defensive mix-up in Vantarck's zone, Leandro Hever stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Kemen came out of the goal and Leandro Hever tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leandro Hevers short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Felipe Kemen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felipe Kemen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leandro Hever's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Vantarck's goalkeeper Felipe Kemen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Leandro Hever's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felipe Kemen was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Severo Ubarna took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Felipe Kemen to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leandro Hever in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The supporters of Vantarck booed when Gimnasia y Tiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Hever didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Maximino Stephen fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vantarck's protests and gave Maximino Stephen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Maximino Stephen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Gimnasia y Tiro defense, Damian Ederono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teofilo Estavan. In the 94thth minute of the game Leandro Hever who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vantarck's Felipe Kemen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Severo Ubarna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Kemen having to interfere. Gimnasia y Tiro walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
