After a defensive mix-up in Chinurris Murris's zone, Edgard Cibran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baldomiro Nerio came out of the goal and Edgard Cibran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Eutropio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Baldomiro Nerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Eutropio struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Baldomiro Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeus. Ciriaco Azeari made an important save on a dangerous shot by Honorio Lartaun in the 24th minute. If Amado Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Amado Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Eutropio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgard Cibran struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Baldomiro Nerio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zeus. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Nicanor Eutropio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeus's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicanor Eutropio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baldomiro Nerio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Zeus's zone, Honorio Lartaun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciriaco Azeari came out of the goal and Honorio Lartaun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amado Abreu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Amado Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Amado Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Azeari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Amado Abreu was the one to do the kick off. Baldomiro Nerio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicanor Eutropio's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Edgard Cibran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nicanor Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the game, Edgard Cibran cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Baldomiro Nerio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ciriaco Azeari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Lartaun in the 79th minute of play. Honorio Lartaun fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Azeari having to interfere. The supporters of Zeus booed when Chinurris Murris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Cristofor didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chinurris Murris's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nicanor Eutropio 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. Edgard Cibran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomiro Nerio having to interfere. Edgard Cibran came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Baldomiro Nerio could save by the left post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zeus had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
