An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Chumo in the 23rd minute of play forced Kaiju's goalkeeper Rene Neto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eduardo Chumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luciano Lon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Aragones in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Uchi FC booed when Kaiju was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelino Bartoli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eduardo Chumo to make the kick off.
