Horacio Confesor stood somewhat misplaced when Melchor Oliviero came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 38 minute. The Konoha FC fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Konoha FC's Melchor Oliviero looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Timo during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 92nd minute Melchor Oliviero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horacio Confesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Honorio Iztal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Oliviero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konoha FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
