Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mario Sustrai took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ulises Normando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 minutes, Mario Sustrai made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Almafuerte FC's Santiago Gutierrez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Almafuerte FC's Santiago Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Sustrai in the 14th minute of play. Eustacio Quirze fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Porfirio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Almafuerte FC's zone, Mario Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Gutierrez came out of the goal and Mario Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Ermano during the 24th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Achupallas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Bruno Ermano. Ambrosio Porfirio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eustacio Quirze, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 28th match minute, Achupallas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Ladio to maneuver through the defense. Bruno Ermano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 32 minutes into the match. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Achupallas AFC! In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Almafuerte FC. Eusebio Frans stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ambrosio Porfirio. 1-1. Narciso Ortzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Gutierrez having to interfere. Achupallas AFC's Timoteo Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute, Narciso Ortzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, Achupallas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Modesto Gregory came free, but Ambrosio Porfirio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Placido Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Placido Ladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Santiago Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Timoteo Claus struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Santiago Gutierrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Achupallas AFC. In the 61st minute Narciso Ortzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Santiago Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santiago Gutierrez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Ladio went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Achupallas AFC's Ambrosio Porfirio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Achupallas AFC from getting a goal against them. When Placido Ladio fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Achupallas AFC's protests and gave Placido Ladio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Achupallas AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Ladio to maneuver through the defense. When Placido Ladio came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Achupallas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Placido Ladio couldn't finish the play. If Timoteo Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Narciso Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Santiago Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Almafuerte FC's goalkeeper Santiago Gutierrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ambrosio Porfirio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Modesto Gregory in the 90th minute. After a rather tough play, Almafuerte FC's Urbano Bizen got a free kick in the 92nd minute. When Timoteo Claus came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Achupallas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Claus couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Achupallas AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
