With a left leg Froilan Gil saved Domínguez from getting behind. A hard shot by Bruno Ermano from long distance, 67 minutes into the match, got Froilan Gil's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Domínguez's Froilan Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Sustrai in the 69th minute of play. If Narciso Ortzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A beautiful save bye Domínguez's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Achupallas AFC booed when Domínguez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Generoso Valiente didn't get a good kick on the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Serafin Loreto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ambrosio Porfirio. Achupallas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Serafin Loreto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Achupallas AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Domínguez to leave the ground with a draw.
