When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patricio Tuste to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pigüé's Herminio Nel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Simon Pacifico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee ignored Ciénaga's protests and gave Florentino Lop a yellow card for diving instead. In the 65th match minute, Ciénaga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Lop to maneuver through the defense. Ciénaga's Simon Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Nel in the 68th minute of play. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Simon Pacifico took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Nel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciénaga's Simon Pacifico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Nel in the 90th minute of play. Bernabe Benet struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Simon Pacifico didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pigüé.
