After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Justino Cuartio managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Perla De Entre Rios's supporters rose to their feet, but Justino Cuartio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvestre Oso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 10th minute, Justino Cuartio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvestre Oso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Silvestre Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Phelipe in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, La Perla De Entre Rios's Justino Cuartio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvestre Oso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Starship Troopers's zone, Justino Cuartio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Oso came out of the goal and Justino Cuartio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casimiro Phelipe struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Silvestre Oso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Perla De Entre Rios. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Cuartio in the 23rd minute of play forced Starship Troopers's goalkeeper Silvestre Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes, Casimiro Phelipe made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Starship Troopers's Silvestre Oso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 34th minute, Justino Cuartio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Perla De Entre Rios fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Cuartio in the 36th minute of play forced Starship Troopers's goalkeeper Silvestre Oso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silvestre Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the match, Starship Troopers's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Cuartio came free, but Silvestre Oso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute Casimiro Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvestre Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 minutes of play, La Perla De Entre Rios's Casimiro Phelipe made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Oso was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Starship Troopers players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Perla De Entre Rios were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Romeo Giraldo to make the kick off. With a little luck, Starship Troopers's Silvestre Oso got control of the ball when Justino Cuartio tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Starship Troopers booed when La Perla De Entre Rios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Eliu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, La Perla De Entre Rios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Oinaz to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Phelipe in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvestre Oso saved Starship Troopers from getting behind. Casimiro Phelipe was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 60th minute. La Perla De Entre Rios's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Starship Troopers's goalkeeper Silvestre Oso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romeo Giraldo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 72 minutes of play, La Perla De Entre Rios's Justino Cuartio made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Silvestre Oso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silvestre Oso came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by La Perla De Entre Rios's Justino Cuartio. But to his dismay, Justino Cuartio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Justino Cuartio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvestre Oso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Starship Troopers's zone, Casimiro Phelipe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvestre Oso came out of the goal and Casimiro Phelipe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 95 in the game by Justino Cuartio from a close distance when the talented Silvestre Oso managed to make a qualified save. Starship Troopers's players were relieved. The Starship Troopers supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Perla De Entre Rios's performance. The match ended with a win for La Perla De Entre Rios.
