Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Teobaldo Truylos started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Morales got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Erasto. Placido Arnau might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aurelio Aznaro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Placido Arnau ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 13th minute, Herminio Bieito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hermengildo Rayman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Bastia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcial Blanco, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Marcial Blanco took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfredo Bastia. Wilfredo Bastia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Rumipal's Marcial Blanco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Bastia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermengildo Rayman in the 24th minute of play forced Morales's goalkeeper Wilfredo Bastia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 27 minutes, Erubiel Emenon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Morales and the Rumipal players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 minutes of play, Rumipal's Hermengildo Rayman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilfredo Bastia was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Arnau got free with Aurelio Aznaro in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 39 minutes into the match, Rumipal's goal looked a bit too open when Teobaldo Truylos came free, but Aurelio Aznaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Morales getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Erubiel Emenon hit a great ball. In the game's 42nd minute Rumipal's Herminio Bieito took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Wilfredo Bastia and thus the score was 0-3. After the first half Rumipal were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Marcial Blanco made the kick off in the second half. Amador Lauren kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Aurelio Aznaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Truylos in the 54th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Rumipal's Marcial Blanco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilfredo Bastia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Placido Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Aurelio Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Truylos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Morales's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rumipal the free kick. The supporters of Rumipal booed when Morales was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Truylos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th minute Teobaldo Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teobaldo Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 72 minutes, Teobaldo Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Teobaldo Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Arnau, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Truylos in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Aznaro saved Rumipal from getting behind. Aurelio Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Placido Arnau in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Morales's Placido Arnau sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelio Aznaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcial Blanco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Bastia having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Rumipal's zone, Placido Arnau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Aznaro came out of the goal and Placido Arnau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Morales manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Rumipal to win.
