Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Morales's Teobaldo Truylos started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Morales getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Teobaldo Truylos hit a great ball. JuanSe FC's Reynaldo Gagriel got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Morales! The referee gave JuanSe FC a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paulino Txurio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Morales's Wilfredo Bastia. 0-1. When Teobaldo Truylos came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Morales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teobaldo Truylos couldn't finish the play. Placido Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Benjamin Birila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Teobaldo Truylos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teobaldo Truylos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 24th minute Teobaldo Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Birila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baldomero Lucila during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Gagriel to make the kick off. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Morales had played much better football throughout.
