Ivan Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enzo Thomas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Napier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niceto Piearres in the 21st minute of the match. The C.A Deportivo Alianza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivan Napier should have stopped the shot. When Niceto Piearres came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Belgrano de Cba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Piearres couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Enzo Thomas sped through C.A Deportivo Alianza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Napier. 41 minutes into the game, Severiano Chano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belgrano de Cba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A Deportivo Alianza the free kick. After 42 played minutes Belgrano de Cba got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Chano. If Enzo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Niceto Piearres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ivan Napier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Astor Mouricio made a kick off. 60 minutes into the match, C.A Deportivo Alianza's goal looked a bit too open when Niceto Piearres came free, but Ivan Napier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Belgrano de Cba booed when C.A Deportivo Alianza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubaldo Tino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niceto Piearres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enzo Thomas took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Napier. Ivan Napier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Enzo Thomas struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Ivan Napier didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgrano de Cba. C.A Deportivo Alianza's Ivan Napier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niceto Piearres in the 79th minute of play. Ivan Napier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enzo Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ubaldo Quintana hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. If Enzo Thomas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
