Nemesio Bautista charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nemesio Bautista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nemesio Bautista hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mariano Roldanillo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 29th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Esteve Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Castelar's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Paulo Guillerme scored to the left of an out of position Leandro Casado, making the score, 1-0. If Leonardo Salomon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ceferino Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulo Guillerme was the one to do the kick off. If Candido Gorri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ceferino Cerilo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Constantino Txurio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Constantino Txurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Esteve Santana in the 57th minute of play. If Esteve Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Leandro Casado came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Moncaliari's Ladislao Brun. But to his dismay, Ladislao Brun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Castelar's Leandro Casado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Guillerme in the 70th minute of play. Esteve Santana who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Constantino Txurio when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 78thth minute of the game Ladislao Brun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Castelar's Leandro Casado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ladislao Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Leandro Casado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 83 in the game by Ceferino Cerilo from a close distance when the talented Constantino Txurio managed to make a qualified save. Moncaliari's players were relieved. Paulo Guillerme struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Leandro Casado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moncaliari. After 92 played minutes Moncaliari got a freekick which was hit by Marcial Peruxu. Esteve Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Txurio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Moncaliari's zone, Candido Gorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Txurio came out of the goal and Candido Gorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
